PIM-osCommerce-Slider add-on will add a slideshow in your osCommerce 2.3.x or osCommerce MS2.2 store and will add a slideshow section inside your osCommerce Admin panel under Catalog > Slideshow to manage and add slides.

It will also add slider configuration panel under Configuration>Slideshow. Slider configuration panel allows you to set several parameters of Nivo Slider from the admin panel.

This add-on uses this amazing open source Nivo Slider jQuery Plugin as the front end slider to display and rotate slides on your store.

What’s the difference between free and paid version?

As you can see above, free version does not support multi-lingual stores. However, that’s not the only difference. Free version uses open source easySlider as slideshow where as paid version uses open source Nivo Slider jQuery Plugin which is far better slider and has number of transition effects for slide animations apart from theme selection and these all can be configured from osCommerce store admin panel.

Is this contribution for my version of store?

Both Free and paid versions are available for osCommerce version MS2.2 and versions 2.3.x. A detailed installation guide is provided with the add-on. It’s less than 30 minutes job to add this slider in your osCommerce store.
