One WooCommerce Store. Unlimited Partner Storefronts.
Publish your WooCommerce catalog through a secure REST API and let affiliate, reseller, and partner WordPress sites display your products live—with no WooCommerce installation required on the remote end.
A commercial PI Media product for controlled WooCommerce syndication, affiliate catalogs, and partner storefronts.
Keep Commerce in the Source Store. Put Product Discovery Everywhere Else.
Your WooCommerce store stays the single source of truth for pricing, stock, and product data. Partner sites fetch the latest catalog in real time, present it in fully branded, responsive layouts, and send every buyer back to complete the purchase on your store.
Grow Your Product Reach Without Duplicating Your Store.
Replace copied spreadsheets, manually synced product cards, and duplicate WooCommerce installs with a live, controlled catalog connection that updates automatically whenever you change a product.
Expand distribution, not overhead
Let affiliates, resellers, and content partners promote focused product collections on their own WordPress pages. Every purchase still happens through your single source store.
Products stay current, automatically
Prices, sale status, stock availability, images, categories, tags, ratings, and product permalinks come from the live remote feed—never from a spreadsheet someone remembered to update.
You control every connection
Issue separate API keys bound to specific display domains. Pause or regenerate one key without touching the others. See exactly which cached requests are active at any moment.
Install Once and Tell Each Website What It Should Do.
The Site Role screen presents three clear choices. The plugin then reveals only the admin tabs relevant to that site's job—keeping each installation focused on its half of the connection.
Publish
For a WooCommerce store that will supply its product catalog to approved partner websites.
- WooCommerce active and required
- Publishes a secure REST product feed
- Tier-limited domain-bound API keys
- Configurable request size and caching
- Source API URL displayed alongside every key
- Cache cleared on product save/update
Publish + Display
For a WooCommerce store that publishes its own catalog and also promotes products from other stores.
- Every Publish tab and every Display tab
- Issue keys for your own outgoing partners
- Add and display incoming remote sources
- Landing pages, shortcodes, and caching
- Live preview of all placements
- Combined cache management in one screen
Display
For an affiliate or partner website that needs remote products but no local WooCommerce store.
- No WooCommerce required on this site
- Standard: 3 · Business: 10 · Developer: 20 sources
- Unlimited WordPress page placements
- Grid, list, and masonry layouts
- Per-placement filters, metadata, and colors
- Configurable affiliate tracking query
A Guided Setup That Follows the Real Connection.
The role-aware Help & Support tab shows a Quick Start checklist specific to the selected site role. Each numbered step links directly to the exact admin screen it describes.
Select Publish, Display, or Publish + Display. The plugin saves the choice, opens the right tabs, and remembers the last screen visited per admin user.
On the Publish side: generate a domain-bound API key and copy the Source API URL shown beside it. On the Display side: paste that URL and key into the Remote API tab.
Name the source, set its currency, paste the Source API URL and key, test the connection, and enable it. Sources up to the licence allowance become available for page placements.
Assign a WordPress page, choose filters, layout, metadata visibility, colors, and button text. A live preview of the remote catalog loads from the actual source before you save.
Check the Caching tab to confirm transients are created and expiring correctly. Clear individual requests or full cache groups when needed.
Share a Live Product Feed Without Sharing Store Administration.
The plugin registers a purpose-built REST endpoint on your WooCommerce store. Partner sites authenticate with a domain-bound key and receive exactly the product data you've configured—nothing more.
- REST endpoint at
/wp-json/pi-remote-product-suite/v1/products - Products, price, sale state, stock status, SKU, ratings, and permalinks
- Categories, tags, featured state, descriptions, and gallery images
- Filters: category slug, tag slug, search, on-sale, featured
- Ordering by date, price, popularity, rating, title, or random
- Pagination support with configurable max products per request
- Publishing cache with configurable TTL; auto-cleared on product save
Connect Every Approved Source Store in One Clean Workspace.
Add source stores one at a time. Each source gets its own endpoint URL, API key, display name, currency, and enabled/paused state. The Remote API tab shows the count against your licence allowance.
- Standard: 3, Business: 10, Developer: 20 remote sources
- Full Source API URL or compatible store homepage accepted
- Sends
X-PI-Remote-KeyandX-PI-Remote-Domainheaders on each request - Test, edit, pause, and delete controls per source
- Transient caching with configurable TTL (60 s – 86 400 s)
- Separate cache prefix per source slot:
pi_rwpd_s{N}_ - Licence-limit guard prevents sources over the allowance from fetching
Build Every Product Landing Page Around Its Audience.
One partner page can show sale footwear in a 4-column elevated-card grid. Another shows featured home products in a minimal list. Each placement keeps its own settings independent of every other.
- Unlimited WordPress page assignments
- Position before, after, or replacing the page content
- Layout: Grid (3 or 4 columns), responsive List, or Masonry
- Theme: Default, Minimal, Elevated Card, or Dark
- Filters: category, tag, search term, on-sale, featured
- Ordering: date, price, popularity, rating, title, random
- Visible metadata: price, rating, description, categories, tags, SKU, sale/stock badges, source label
- Per-placement button text and 9 individual color controls
- AJAX live preview loads real products before you save
Place Product Catalogs in Any Post, Template, or Widget Area.
The [pi_remote_wc_products] shortcode exposes every option available in the Display on Pages UI. Use it when you need a catalog inside a page builder element, a WordPress widget, or a custom template.
- Source selection via
source="site_1"or bare integer - Query: category, tag, search, on_sale, featured, per_page, page, orderby, order
- Display: layout, columns, theme, image_size, title, button_text, no_products_text
- Metadata: show_price, show_rating, show_description, show_category, show_tags, show_sku, show_badge, show_source_label, show_pagination
- Colors: color_card_bg, color_card_border, color_title, color_meta, color_price, color_button, color_button_text, color_accent, color_sale

The Operational Details That Make a Product Network Maintainable.
Beyond the product feed and the shortcode, PI Remote WooCommerce Product Display gives administrators a complete, role-aware control surface for long-term operation.
Role-aware admin
Publish mode shows only publishing tabs. Display mode shows only display tabs. Combined mode reveals both. The plugin remembers the last tab each admin user visited.
Site RoleDomain-bound security
Each API key is tied to one allowed display domain. Regenerate, pause, or delete a single key without affecting other partner connections. Authorization uses constant-time hash comparison.
API KeysThree responsive layouts
Grid (3 or 4 columns), responsive list, and masonry displays. All collapse cleanly across desktop, tablet, and mobile without additional CSS required.
FrontendNine per-placement colors
Control card background, card border, title, metadata, price, button background, button text, accent, and sale badge color independently for every page placement.
Display PagesTransparent caching
See every cached request with its type (Publish API or Display request), transient key, expiry status, and human-readable time. Delete one entry or clear a cache group.
CachingFull product metadata
Show price HTML (preserving WooCommerce's strikethrough sale formatting), star ratings with count, short description, categories, tags, SKU, and sale/stock/featured badges.
Product DetailAffiliate tracking
Append a configurable query string to all partner-store links (e.g. utm_source=partner&utm_medium=referral) and display an affiliate disclosure above any catalog.
Smart pagination
Paginated navigation with smart page-range display. Per-source query variables (wrp_page_1, wrp_page_2…) keep multiple shortcodes on one page independent.
Role-specific Quick Start
The Help & Support tab shows a checklist for the selected role with completion indicators. Each step links to the exact admin screen. A second view provides environment info for support requests.
Help & SupportA Focused Workspace for the Entire Product Connection.
Publish + Display reveals every tab. Publish mode shows only the publisher-side controls. Display mode shows only the consumer-side controls. Every admin user returns to the last tab they visited.
01Site Role
Select Publish, Publish + Display, or Display. Styled role cards explain each option. Changing the role preserves all saved configuration and unlocks or hides the relevant tabs immediately.
02Settings
Configure global display defaults—link target, default Buy Now text, affiliate tracking query, partner disclosure, global color palette, response cache lifetime, and additional CSS.
03Remote API
Add, name, configure, test, enable, and delete remote source stores one at a time, up to the active licence allowance. A notice shows sources used versus the allowance.
04Display on Pages
Create unlimited page placements with live remote-product preview, filters, ordering, layout selection, metadata visibility, per-placement colors, and position controls.
05Shortcodes
Reference documentation for every available attribute of [pi_remote_wc_products], grouped by purpose with example usage.
06Publish Products
Configure the WooCommerce REST product feed—max products per request, publishing cache on/off, and cache TTL. The endpoint URL and example request parameters are shown here.
07API Keys
Generate domain-bound API keys up to the licence allowance. The Source API URL appears beside every key for easy copy-and-paste to the partner. Edit, regenerate, enable, disable, or delete per key.
08Caching
Inspect all active transients with request type, transient key, expiry time, and status. Delete single entries or flush Display cache, Publish cache, or all cached requests at once.
09Licence
Activate a Standard, Business, or Developer licence through the PI Media licensing flow. The plugin auto-detects the tier from the key and adjusts API connection limits immediately.
10Help & Support
Role-specific Quick Start checklists with completion indicators, direct links to each required screen, environment details for support requests, and a connection verification checklist.
A Purpose-built Product Feed for Developers Who Need Full Control.
The plugin registers a single, well-documented REST endpoint on the WooCommerce source store. Any HTTP client that can send two custom headers can fetch a filtered, paginated, ordered product feed. The display-side plugin handles this automatically—but the endpoint is open for your own integrations too.

“PI Remote WooCommerce Product Display lets us place relevant products from partner stores alongside our California event content without running a separate shop. We control the source, filters and presentation, while every purchase continues securely on the partner’s own store.”
Frequently Asked Questions.
PI Remote WooCommerce Product Display is designed for store owners who want controlled product distribution and affiliate publishers who want to display those products without running WooCommerce locally.
Does the display website need WooCommerce?
No. Display mode is specifically built for affiliate, partner, and content sites without a local WooCommerce installation. The plugin fetches and renders products from the remote source entirely through the WordPress REST API.
Where does checkout happen?
Every product button links to the original product on the source WooCommerce store. The partner site presents the catalog; the source store handles the cart, checkout, payment, and fulfillment. No commerce data passes through the display site.
Can one display site show products from multiple stores?
Yes. Add source stores one at a time on the Remote API tab, up to the allowance on the active licence (3, 10, or 20). Each source can be assigned to different pages or used in different shortcodes on the same page.
Can each landing page look completely different?
Yes. Every page placement stores its own source, filters, ordering, layout, theme, columns, metadata visibility, button text, and nine color values. Changes to one placement do not affect any other.
How are API keys protected?
Each key is domain-bound—the publisher specifies one allowed hostname when creating the key. The display site sends both the key and its own domain in request headers. The source endpoint verifies the domain matches the key using constant-time hash comparison, preventing timing attacks.
Are products stored in the partner site's database?
No product posts are created in Display mode. Products are fetched on request from the remote source and may be cached temporarily as WordPress transients with a configurable expiry. No WooCommerce data is written to the partner site.
Can I test the remote connection before building pages?
Yes. Each source on the Remote API tab has a Test button that fires a one-product request and shows the result immediately. The Publish Products tab also shows the full endpoint URL with example parameters you can test with any REST client.
What is the difference between the three licence tiers?
Every tier includes the complete feature set—all modes, all layouts, all metadata options, shortcodes, caching, and the Help & Support workspace. Standard activates on 2 domains with 3 API keys; Business activates on 4 domains with 10 keys; Developer activates on 8 domains with 20 keys.

Make Every Product Connection Easier to Launch—and Easier to Control.
Share what you're building: a source store distributing products to affiliates, a display site aggregating several brands, or an agency deploying partner storefronts for clients. We'll help you find the right licence and answer any integration questions.
PI Remote WooCommerce Product Display is an independent PI Media product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of WooCommerce, Automattic, or WordPress.org. WooCommerce is required only on the publishing (source) site. Display sites operate on standard WordPress without WooCommerce. The REST endpoint registers on the source site's WordPress REST API and requires WooCommerce to be installed and active on that site. All product data, pricing, and inventory information is supplied by and remains the responsibility of the source WooCommerce store owner.
