Does this replace MemberClicks Trade?
No. MemberClicks remains the authoritative membership system. PI WP Suite makes supported member identity and information useful inside WordPress.
Is this only an SSO plugin?
No. SSO is the entry point. Business and Developer add Profile-based directories, a managed portal, read-only member data, protected content, widgets and guided setup.
Can members edit their Trade profile from WordPress?
No. The current release is read-only for Trade data. Administrators choose which permitted fields may appear in private profiles and public directories.
Do we need another role plugin?
Not for basic role creation, MemberClicks role matching or PI WP Suite protected pages. An advanced role editor is optional when your WordPress team needs detailed capability management.
Can we keep using our WordPress LMS or membership plugin?
Yes. PI WP Suite is designed to connect member identity and access with the WordPress tools that best fit your learning, payment, community or content needs.
Is this suitable for chambers of commerce?
Yes. MC Trade is a common AMS choice for chambers. PI WP Suite displays chamber member profiles and organization directories drawn from the Trade API, lets members log in with their MC Trade credentials, and protects chamber resources by member type or group—exactly the member types MC Trade manages.
Can we show committee memberships?
Yes. MemberClicks Trade supports committee management, and PI WP Suite can display a member's committees in their portal and use committee membership as a factor in content restriction and role assignment where the connected tenant returns that data.

The suite validates sign-in state, keeps Trade resource access read-only and lets administrators control what appears in WordPress.
Clean public SSO routes
Member-facing login and callback addresses do not expose wp-admin paths. Authentication state is validated before a WordPress session is created.
Trade data stays read-only
The current plugin release permits GET-only Trade resource access. Profile editing, applications and LMS write-back remain disabled until verified.

Administrators can audit readable resources and permissions before publishing directories, events or member portal sections.
Privacy at field level
Directory visibility and private member display are separate decisions, with tenant permissions limiting the fields the API can return.

WordPress transients can cache supported responses for 15 minutes to 12 hours, with independent durations and manual clearing.

Groups and member types are populated from the connected client account rather than bundled sample values that may not apply.
