Active lifecycle rule execution
Business can configure lifecycle rules. Developer executes them during supported login processing and scheduled reconciliation.
Lifecycle rules can connect membership state to WordPress roles. For example, a supported active member type may receive a role, while a no-longer-qualifying state may remove access during reconciliation.
The exact inputs depend on data returned by the connected tenant. Administrators should test rule behaviour with representative accounts before applying it broadly.
Scheduled reconciliation
Login-time synchronization updates members when they sign in. Scheduled reconciliation addresses members who do not visit frequently or whose access should be reviewed outside an active login.
Developer activates the scheduled lifecycle path and provides a stronger operational model for organizations with more complex access requirements.
Incremental directory synchronization
Developer directory synchronization resumes from a saved API page rather than restarting every process from the beginning. Failed pages enter an exponential retry queue.
The health report records:
- Created records
- Updated records
- Failed records
- Retry state
- Synchronization progress
These controls help administrators understand whether a large Profile-based directory is current and where an API interruption occurred.
Per-resource cache durations
Standard uses safe automatic one-hour caching. Business provides presets. Developer allows individual durations for different resource types.
An administrator may keep relatively stable profile-derived organization data longer while refreshing event information more often. Shortcode-level cache overrides support exceptional placements without changing the global resource policy.
This control is valuable for high-traffic sites and tenants with strict API demand considerations.
Portal custom CSS
Developer adds carefully scoped custom CSS for the managed portal. It is intended for teams that need final brand refinements beyond the built-in Card, Glass and Flat controls.
Custom CSS should be used for measured adjustments—typography, spacing, borders or component details—while the portal’s configuration remains responsible for the main theme and layout.
Configuration backup
Developer can download a portal configuration backup containing assignments, layouts, colours, theme and styling choices. This helps before major design changes and supports repeatable deployment practices.
The backup concerns plugin configuration; it is not a substitute for a complete WordPress database and file backup.
Advanced diagnostics and support
Developer combines synchronization health, detailed caching and support diagnostics for teams that actively operate the integration. Secret values remain excluded from downloadable diagnostics.
What Developer still does not enable
Version 1.0.0 deliberately keeps Trade API writes disabled. Developer does not currently promise:
- Profile editing that writes to Trade
- New member applications
- LMS completion or credit write-back
- Unverified finance or engagement workflows
Some historical interface descriptions referenced these possible future areas, but the stable edition is positioned around verified read-only data, automation inside WordPress and advanced administration.
Who should choose Developer?
Developer is appropriate when the organization needs:
- Active lifecycle rule execution
- Scheduled role reconciliation
- Large-directory synchronization health and retries
- Fine-grained API caching
- Shortcode cache overrides
- Portal custom CSS
- Portable portal configuration
